267F1 - Corrections for Rohde Office Towers Restrooms (Phase 1 of 8)
Please address the following observations ONLY, and change the status to "READY TO REVIEW".
If you have any questions, please contact me by email at rq@legocc.com.
Thank you.
Good afternoon,
Note: Juan, it is good that you have the habit of completing the OSHA 300 form; however, you should be aware that this form is mandatory only for companies with more than 10 employees. Therefore, I repeat, it is a very good practice but not mandatory for you.
Observations:
- The Basic Safety AHA must have the AHA information completed as applicable, please refer to the attached image.
- Do you have Workers Compensation? If not, please send the Workers Compensation Exception form.
- CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens training: As part of LEGO’s policies and OSHA standards, first aid must be "reasonably accessible." OSHA generally interprets "reasonably accessible" as within 3 to 4 minutes. As we all know, this is impractical unless the work is performed in a hospital or medical center. Therefore, compliance with this requirement is mandatory and does not need to be included in a contract. As everyone knows, since these are federal regulations, they must be complied with whether or not they are explicitly mentioned in the contract. For this brief explanation, it is required that you obtain the mentioned training; I recommend the American Red Cross option. If you have any questions regarding this point, please call me at 786-247-3707.

- Do you have Workers Compensation? If not, please provide the Workers Compensation Exception form.
- CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training: As part of LEGO’s policies and OSHA standards, first aid must be "reasonably accessible." OSHA generally interprets "reasonably accessible" as within 3 to 4 minutes. As we all know, this is impractical unless the work is being performed in a hospital or medical center. Therefore, compliance with this requirement is mandatory and is not contingent upon its inclusion in the contract. Since these are federal regulations, they must be followed whether or not they are explicitly mentioned in the agreement. For this reason, you are required to obtain the mentioned training. I recommend the American Red Cross option. Should you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me at 786-247-3707.
